He has participated as a speaker at numerous national and international conferences with honorary distinctions and has authored several scientific articles published in reputable Greek and international journals. Orthodontiko Paidodontiko Iatreio Kourakou Maria - Tasios Thomas - Sunshine Smiles is located in Piraeus. The scientific directors of the clinic are Tasios Thomas and Kourakou Maria.

Tasios Thomas was admitted to the School of Dentistry at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2005 as a scholarship recipient from IKY with the highest entrance score. During his studies, he was awarded a merit-based scholarship due to his academic performance. He graduated in 2010 and in 2011 was immediately accepted into the orthodontic department of Marmara University in Istanbul. Upon completion of the four-year program, he earned the title of Master of Science and subsequently, after examinations, obtained the orthodontic specialty certification from KESY of the Hellenic Ministry of Health. Since 2015, he has been practicing orthodontics in the Netherlands and since 2018 has been the director of the specialized Orthodontic Clinic Top Ortho in Hengelo, Netherlands, where he is responsible for hundreds of new smiles each year. He performs treatments spanning the full spectrum of orthodontics (surgical cases, tooth autotransplantations, etc.) using both traditional methods and modern techniques such as clear aligners. From 2017 to 2019, he attended the English-language postgraduate program (MSc) Medical Resource Methodology at the Faculty of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His postgraduate thesis, conducted in collaboration with the dental schools of Thessaloniki and Zurich, received the award for best publication from the Orthodontic Society of Northern Greece. Dr Vikki Yiotopoulos graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand Dental School in South Africa in 2013. After having worked in both public and private practices in South Africa, Vikki continued her dental career in London, United Kingdom. Since then, Vikki has continued with her postgraduate training, where she successfully completed the Advanced Aesthetics in Dentistry programme with Distinction at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute at University College London (UCL) in 2017. Following completion of this course, Vikki joined the teaching staff at UCL as a visiting lecturer for the Advanced Aesthetics in Dentistry programme. In 2022, Vikki completed a Masters of Science Degree in Conservative in Prosthodontics Dentistry at UCL, for which she obtained a Distinction award and inclusion on the Dean’s List. This training offered her theoretical and practical experience in the management of complex cases using either tooth (crown and bridgework, veneers) or implant-supported restorations, and full mouth rehabilitations. 

Having completed a postgraduate Diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy, Vikki is also an Invisalign provider allowing her to provide orthodontic treatment to enhance her patients’ smiles and complement any restorative treatment they may undergo.

Konstantopoulos Ioannis is a Dental Surgeon, trained in Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation at the New York University, USA (NYU, USA) and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Implantology and Dental Surgery MSc (Dresden University, Germany). He graduated with honors from the dental school and also completed the Implantology program at New York University. In addition to maintaining a private dental practice in Piraeus, he is a scientific collaborator at the General Hospital Tzaneio, Piraeus. He has worked across the full spectrum of dentistry with a special focus on surgical procedures and has been trained in numerous seminars, including modern techniques for treating pulp diseases and endodontics as well as guided bone regeneration and oral rehabilitation techniques. He is an active member of the Piraeus Dental Association with ongoing participation in preventive dentistry initiatives and volunteer activities.

Strigkoni Anna maintains the dental clinic ALL SMILES DENTAL CLINIC in Paleo Faliro. She graduated from the School of Dentistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2018. In 2019, she was admitted to the postgraduate specialization program in Prosthetics and Implant Prosthetics at the University of Athens. From 2018 to the present, she has served as a scientific collaborator in the field of Prosthetics at the School of Dentistry of NKUA. She has participated in numerous local and international conferences with lectures and free communications, and has published scientific papers in various dental journals. The clinic offers services covering the entire spectrum of dentistry, with an emphasis on complex prosthetic cases requiring full-mouth rehabilitation, implant prosthetics, cases with high aesthetic demands (porcelain veneers, whitening), as well as management of patients with bruxism, and pain in the joint/facial muscles (temporomandibular disorders). Romanou Katia is a Pediatric Dentist and has maintained a private practice in Kallithea since 1989. In 1992, she was awarded a PhD from the University of Athens in the field of Preventive and Community Dentistry. She holds a Dentistry degree from the Dental School of the University of Athens and pursued three years of postgraduate studies (Master of Arts) in Toronto, Canada. For more than 30 years, she has specialized in dentistry for children and adults with special needs. She has an extensive scientific background, participating in numerous conferences in Greece and abroad where she has presented research, and has contributed articles to the Greek professional press on topics related to prevention and holistic dentistry. She is a founding member of the non-profit organization O.D.E.T.E.A.S. (Dental Society for the Study and Support of Persons with Special Needs) and served on its Board of Directors from its inception in 1992 until 1998. She is a member of the European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Hellenic Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and other Greek and international scientific societies. Additionally, she has organized and participated in volunteer programs promoting oral health in dozens of schools and other community groups, including the coordination of a program providing free dental treatment with the mobile dental unit of O.D.E.T.E.A.S. in institutions and schools for individuals with special needs during the years 1992-1996, where she voluntarily provided therapeutic dental services.

Emmanouil Perrakis is a Specialist Orthodontist and operates a private clinic in Piraeus. He studied Dentistry from 1995 to 2000. He specialized in Orthodontics and has held the title of Specialist Orthodontist since 2007. He underwent further training in the pioneering orthodontic treatment method using "invisible clear aligners" for adolescents and adults. He has completed hundreds of treatments to date, including "skeletal Class II and III malocclusions, open and deep bites, crossbites, and upper and lower dental crowding." He is a member of the Preventive Team of Piraeus and annually visits dozens of schools, providing his services voluntarily. Finally, he is a founding member of the Scientific Society of Sports Dentistry, which is active in the prevention of dental trauma during all types of sports activities.
