Georgia Avrami MD, MSc is a Pediatrician with certified specialization in Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatric Diabetology from the German Medical Association of the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen (Ärztekammer Westfalen-Lippe). She was admitted to the Medical School of the University of Patras through the Panhellenic exams. After completing her studies, she moved to Germany in 2014, where she obtained the German Medical License to Practice (Approbation) and subsequently completed her residency in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. After obtaining the German board certification in Pediatrics in 2020, she continued her specialization in Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatric Diabetology at the University Pediatric Clinic of Universitätsklinikum OWL. In 2022, she acquired her specialization in Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatric Diabetology following examinations from the German Medical Association of the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen (Ärztekammer Westfalen-Lippe). Dr. Avrami worked as the coordinator of the obesity department at the University Pediatric Clinic OWL and participated in the education of children with Diabetes Mellitus as well as their parents and teachers. Since January 2023, she has served as head of the pediatric endocrinology department at the largest endocrinology center in Stuttgart (Endokrinologikum Stuttgart). During her time in Germany, she completed her specialization in Childhood Obesity and was certified by the German Obesity Society for Children (AGA). In 2022, Dr. Avrami was certified by the German Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (AG Kinder- und Jugendgynäkologie) as a specialist in pediatric gynecological endocrinology. Simultaneously, she obtained the specialized Diabetology title from the German Diabetes Society (DDG) after examinations.
