Dr. Thanos Xristos is a Pediatrician, specialized in Germany in Infectious Diseases and in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine. Since October 2022, he has maintained his private practice in Kalamaria and, since December 2022, he serves as a Pediatrician at the "Agios Loukas" Clinic in Thessaloniki. Until May 31, 2023, he practiced for four years as a private specialist physician in pediatric and adolescent medicine at a family/pediatric practice in Berlin. Dr. Xristos is a graduate of the Democritus University of Thrace. As part of his postgraduate training, he obtained a Certificate in Clinical Nutrition in Pediatrics after successful examinations (DGKJ) and recognition by the Ärztekammer Westfalen Lippe. He is an Authorized collaborator of the A' Test (school readiness screening) and has attended IBCLC Lactation Consultant Seminars. Efthymiou Theodora, is a pediatrician and maintains a private practice located in Chalandri since 2006, while she is also collaborating with SOS DOCTORS as a fully active member. SOS DOCTORS is the first Greek organization of freelance medical specialists dedicated in providing home medical services in emergencies 24/7. They have carried out very important research work, which includes presentations at scientific conferences and publications in recognized international medical journals and their philosophy is that it is an obligation of every SOS doctor to be immediately at the patient’s side, any time any day. In September 1990, Mrs. Efthymiou entered the medical faculty of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and graduated in 1996 with honors and an overall grade “Excellent”. During her studies, she specialized in the department of pediatric cardiology, pediatric allergology and pediatric otolaryngology. Dimitrios Spyros Giokas is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist, maintaining a private practice in Kalamaria, Thessaloniki. He is a graduate of the School of Medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), holds a Diploma in Medical Acupuncture, and is specialized in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBT). He has many years of clinical experience in public hospitals such as Hippokration General Hospital of Thessaloniki, the 424 General Military Hospital of Thessaloniki, and Papageorgiou General Hospital, where he completed his specialty training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. As part of his commitment to lifelong learning, he has participated in educational seminars, scientific conferences, and public awareness initiatives on topics related to children's and adolescents’ mental health. Koinakis Nikolaos is an Adult and Pediatric Cardiologist and maintains private practices in Kallithea, Glyfada, and Sitia, Crete. He is a graduate of Biology and the Medical School of the University of Crete. He specialized in cardiology at the General Hospital "Asklipieio" of Voula. During his specialization, he trained in pediatric cardiology at the General Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia". He pursued further training in advanced ultrasound techniques (stress echo, transesophageal echocardiography) at the General Hospital of Crete "Venizeleio".
