Karagianni Natalia is an Ophthalmologist who maintains a private practice at Mavili Square. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She specialized in Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York - New York Presbyterian Hospital, the University Ophthalmology Clinic of Attikon Hospital, and the Ophthalmology Clinic of the “Agia Sofia” Children’s Hospital. She holds a PhD in Ophthalmology from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York and is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the University of Thessaly. She possesses both the European and the Greek National Ophthalmology Diplomas, as well as the “ECFMG” certification – recognition of a Medical Degree by the USA after excelling in examinations. She has invaluable professional experience in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of ocular diseases in adults and children, having trained and worked at leading University Hospitals in the USA and Greece. She has performed numerous surgical procedures and has extensive surgical experience and specialization in cataract surgery, laser refractive surgeries, aesthetic ophthalmology, and pediatric ophthalmologic surgeries. Finally, she has numerous publications in medical journals as well as posters and presentations at Greek and international conferences.
