Anastasiadis Anastasis is a Gynecologist - Obstetrician, Reproductive Gynecologist - Specialist in infertility and in vitro fertilization, and a PhD candidate at the Medical School of Athens with a private clinic in Larnaca. He studied at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, supported by a scholarship from the Cyprus State Scholarship Foundation, where he later pursued postgraduate studies in Reproductive Medicine (Research in Female Reproduction). He specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the General Maternity Hospital "Elena Venizelou - Alexandra." He further specialized in Reproductive Medicine – In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) at The Hewitt Fertility Centre, Liverpool Women’s Hospital, one of the largest IVF clinics in Europe, and worked as a Consultant at CREATE Fertility, dealing with complex infertility cases mainly in women with diminished ovarian reserve. He is also trained in advanced 3D and 4D transvaginal ultrasounds, Doppler studies, and vascularization assessments and has performed thousands of oocyte retrievals and embryo transfers, guiding and advising couples with complex infertility issues. He is an expert in performing HyCoSy (hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography) for assessing tubal patency, conducting difficult embryo transfers under 4D ultrasound guidance or transcervically, as well as performing minimally invasive surgical procedures such as laparoscopy and hysteroscopy when required. He possesses extensive experience and training, having worked in major clinics. Finally, he has participated in and presented at numerous international conferences and symposia. He has published scientific articles in medical journals, served as a reviewer for online international journals, and was a co-investigator in a European multicenter study on the response of poor responders after ovarian stimulation.
