Sotiropoulos Konstantinos is a Pathologist - Diabetologist and maintains a private practice in Nea Erythraia. He holds a Doctorate from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as a Master’s degree (MSc) in Endocrinology from the same institution. He received further training in the field of diabetes mellitus and diabetic complications at the Vascular Cell Biology and Diabetic Complications Department at the Joslin Diabetes Center of Harvard Medical School in Boston. Subsequently, he took a salaried position at the Joslin Diabetes Center, participating in clinical protocols involving diabetic patients, gaining both clinical and research experience. He has been clinically involved in Pathology, the management of diabetes mellitus, and its complications continuously for over 20 years, having worked in hospitals throughout Greece. In recent years, he has also been engaged in Geriatrics, working in hospitals of the National Health System of the United Kingdom. Throughout his extensive career, he has received numerous distinctions and awards in Greece and abroad for his research work and has a prolific number of scientific publications in both Greek and international journals.

Iliopoulos Dimitrios MD, PhD is a Specialist Internist - Diabetologist with a private practice in Marousi. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the University of Crete. He has specialized training in diabetology and serves as a scientific collaborator at the diabetology center of the 2nd University Clinic at the General Hospital of Athens "Hippocratio". He is also an associate internist at the "Mitera" Hospital. His primary goal is a patient-friendly approach, thorough clinical examination, and timely diagnosis and management of medical issues. In a simple and explanatory manner, the patient will fully understand their condition, receive updates on the latest medical data, and have any questions addressed. The practice manages a wide range of conditions, including infections, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, and hyperlipidemia (cholesterol). Preventive screening is also performed, including clinical examination and prescription of laboratory and imaging tests. Finally, the physician also provides health certificates for sports and work, as well as medical reports for use in the KEPA committees.

Ioanna Skrapari MD, PhD is a Diabetologist and maintains a private practice in Argyroupoli. She studied Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialized in Pathology at the General Hospital of Athens Alexandra. She holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens as well as a specialization degree in Diabetes Mellitus. Currently, after many years of experience, she is an NHS Director at the General Hospital of Athens Evangelismos and Head of the Diabetology Clinic of the 3rd Internal Medicine Department of the same hospital. She has participated as a speaker in numerous medical conferences and scientific seminars and possesses a rich body of work with publications in international and Greek scientific journals.

Palimeri Sotiria MD, PhD is an Endocrinologist - Diabetologist and maintains a private practice in Nea Smyrni. She holds a PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed her specialty in Endocrinology at the Endocrinology, Diabetes Mellitus, and Metabolism Department of the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos." During her training, she participated in specialty clinics for type 1 and type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, the Osteoporosis clinic, and the Obesity clinic, as well as voluntarily in specialized education groups for individuals with type 1 Diabetes Mellitus. Additionally, she has served as a paid collaborator in an international study group on the weekly administration of growth hormone in adults, as well as in a European study group investigating neoplastic lesions of the adrenal gland. In her private practice, she offers a wide range of services, personalized to the needs of each patient.

Kiortsis Dimitrios, Endocrinologist - Diabetologist, is a Professor at the Medical School of the University of Ioannina. He maintains private practices in Athens and Ioannina. He received specialized training in Paris at the university hospitals Pitie-Salpetriere, Saint Louis, Hotel Dieu, Trousseau, and Cochin. He holds the three-year diploma in Endocrinology-Metabolic Diseases (DU Paris V). He earned his doctorate (PhD) through collaboration between the Universities of Paris (Paris VI) and Athens. He has 35 years of experience across the full spectrum of endocrine disorders, with particular expertise in obesity and metabolic diseases. He is a European-certified specialist and trainer of young physicians in obesity (European Scope). He has served as President of the Hellenic Medical Society of Obesity and is currently President of the Hellenic Society of Metabolism, Nutrition, and Wellness. His original research work includes over 200 publications in international journals and numerous chapters in both international and Greek medical books. His work has received multiple awards. He continues his research in collaboration with leading institutions in Europe and the USA. His clinic offers a fully personalized approach to the entire range of endocrine disorders, with an emphasis on modern therapeutic management of metabolic diseases and obesity. By combining academic research with extensive clinical experience, his goal is to improve patient quality of life through scientifically substantiated knowledge.

Ο Παπαδημητρίου Δημήτρης Θ. γεννήθηκε το 1971 στη Θεσσαλονίκη και μεγάλωσε στην Αθήνα, όπου και αποφοίτησε με άριστα από τη Βαρβάκειο Πρότυπο Σχολή. Πήρε το πτυχίο της Ιατρικής, την Ειδικότητα της Παιδιατρικής και την Διδακτορική του Διατριβή στην Παιδοενδοκρινολογία στο Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών. Μετεκπαιδεύτηκε επί 4ετία στην Παιδιατρική Ενδοκρινολογία. Έλαβε διετές Μεταπτυχιακό (DIU) στην Παιδιατρική Ενδοκρινολογία και Διαβητολογία από το Πανεπιστήμιο Paris V, με κλινική εκπαίδευση στο Πανεπιστημιακό Παιδιατρικό Νοσοκομείο St Vincent de Paul στο Παρίσι. Έλαβε MSc "Research in Female Reproduction" από το Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών. Μετεκπαιδεύτηκε επίσης για 1 έτος (master) στην Ιατρική Παιδαγωγική στο Πανεπιστήμιο Joseph-Fourier της Grenoble στη Γαλλία, όπου και εργάστηκε ως Λέκτορας – Επικεφαλής Πανεπιστημιακής Κλινικής (Chef de Clinique des Universités) με αντικείμενο την Παιδιατρική Ενδοκρινολογία και Διαβητολογία σε κανονική έμμισθη οργανική θέση του Πανεπιστημιακού Νοσοκομείου της Grenoble για 2 χρόνια. Από το Δεκέμβριο του 2005, οργάνωσε και διευθύνει το Τμήμα Παιδιατρικής - Εφηβικής Ενδοκρινολογίας και Διαβήτη του Παιδιατρικού Κέντρου Αθηνών. Διετέλεσε επίσης Ειδικός Επιστημονικός Συνεργάτης, Πανεπιστημιακός και Ακαδημαϊκός Υπότροφος της Γ’ Παιδιατρικής Κλινικής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών στο Αττικό Νοσοκομείο επί 12 χρόνια (2006-2017). Ήταν υπεύθυνος του Ενδοκρινολογικού Ιατρείου της Μονάδας Εφηβικής Υγείας της Β΄ Παιδιατρικής Κλινικής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών για 2 ακαδημαϊκά έτη (2015-2017). Από τον Μάϊο του 2021 ως τον Αύγουστο του 2023 υπηρέτησε ως Ακαδημαϊκός Υπότροφος στο Ιατρείο Υποδοχής Εφήβων με Ενδοκρινικά Νοσήματα της Μονάδας Ενδοκρινολογίας της Β΄ Μαιευτικής – Γυναικολογικής Κλινικής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Ασκεί διδακτικό έργο στο Πρόγραμμα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών «Έρευνα στη Γυναικεία Αναπαραγωγή», στο ΠΜΣ «Ενδοκρινικές Νεοπλασίες» της Χειρουργικής Κλινικής της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, στο ΠΜΣ «Σύγχρονη πρόληψη και αντιμετώπιση παιδιατρικών νοσημάτων» της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας καθώς και στα προπτυχιακά υποχρεωτικά κατ’ επιλογήν μαθήματα της Ενδοκρινολογίας και της Νεογνολογίας στην Ιατρική Σχολή Αθηνών. Έχει δημοσιεύσει πάνω από 100 επιστημονικά άρθρα, εκ των οποίων 50 πλήρεις δημοσιεύσεις σε διεθνή περιοδικά του SCI (indexed in PubMed), εκ των οποίων οι 24 την τελευταία 5ετία, με h-index 16 (5-yr h-index 13), h-10 index 26 (5-yr h-10 index 20) και 966 συνολικές παραθέσεις εκ των οποίων οι 544 από το 2019. Έχει επίσης τουλάχιστον 58 δημοσιευμένα abstracts σε supplements διεθνών περιοδικών εκ των οποίων 50 ανευρίσκονται στο google scholar και 10 είναι indexed στο PubMed Central. Στις 15.05.23 προσεκλήθη από την European Society of Endocrinology να παραδώσει διάλεξη με θέμα ‘Role of Vitamin D in the prevention of T1 and T2 Diabetes’ στο 25th European Congress of Endocrinology, 13 – 16 May 2023, Istanbul, Turkey. Τον Μάϊο του 2023 εξελέγη Επισκέπτης Καθηγητής Νεογνικής - Παιδικής - Εφηβικής Ενδοκρινολογίας και ως επιστέγασμα της Ακαδημαϊκής του διαδρομής, τον Ιούνιο του 2024 εξελέγη Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής Παιδιατρικής, Υπεύθυνος Νεογνικής - Παιδικής - Εφηβικής Ενδοκρινολογίας & Διαβήτη, στο Τμήμα Ιατρικής της Σχολής Επιστημών Υγείας του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας.
