Είναι απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Βερολίνου Charité, όπου ολοκλήρωσε την ειδικότητά του στη Δερματολογία-Αφροδισιολογία. Στη συνέχεια, εργάστηκε ως ειδικός Δερματολόγος στο νοσοκομείο Vivantes Neukölln του Βερολίνου και εξειδικεύτηκε στην Αλλεργιολογία στην πανεπιστημιακή κλινική Charité.
