Μπορεί μια MRI να μην ανιχνεύσει φλεγμονή στη σπονδυλοαρθρίτιδα;
Καλησπέρα σας! Ήθελα να σας ρωτήσω, στα πλαίσια διερεύνησης σπονδυλοαρθρίτιδας, υπάρχει περίπτωση μια MRI ΣΣ στα σημεία που εντοπίζεται ο πόνος, να μην καταφέρει τελικά να αναδείξει την ύπαρξη φλεγμονής ενώ αυτή υπαρχει; και πόσο συνηθισμένο είναι αυτό; σας ευχαριστώ πολύ!

Ειναι συνηθισμενο και μπορει να εχουμε μια σχεδον φυσιολογικη mri σε ασθενη με σπονδυλοαρθριτιδα

Κάθε είδους φλεγμονή δεν είναι δυνατόν να απεικονιστεί σαφώς στη μαγνητική
Όμως η αιτία της φλεγμονής (πχ αρθρίτιδα, δισκοπάθεια κτλ) θα απεικονιστεί

Η μαγνητική τομογραφία θεωρείται ότι είναι ακριβής κατά 99%. Βεβαίως μπορεί, για διάφορους λόγους, να μήν γίνει αντιληπτή μία παθολογία της περιοχής. Για αυτό το λόγο, η εξέταση εκτιμάται πάντοτε σε σχέση με τα κλινικά ευρήματα. Εν ολίγοις, ο Ορθοπεδικός έλεγχος θεωρείται απαραίτητος. Ευχαρίστως σας περιμένω στο ιατρείο.
