Trichonas Georgios is an Ophthalmologist Surgeon. He has served as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Case Western Reserve University in the United States of America and Director of the Retina Department at University Hospitals of Cleveland Medical Center, also in the United States of America. After completing his studies at the School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, he continued his training in America as a Research fellow at the Angiogenesis Lab of Harvard Medical School. He then received his Ophthalmology Residency at the Cole Eye Institute of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio and an Ophthalmology Residency in Retinal Disease at the University of Pittsburgh. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the American Society of Retina Surgeons (ASRS), the American Medical Association (AMA) and the Medical Society of the State of OHIO, USA (COS). Finally, he has published numerous scientific papers and is a specialist in Cataract Surgery, Retinal Surgery and Otolaryngology.
