Είναι απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Βερολίνου Charité, όπου ολοκλήρωσε την ειδικότητά του στη Δερματολογία-Αφροδισιολογία. Στη συνέχεια, εργάστηκε ως ειδικός Δερματολόγος στο νοσοκομείο Vivantes Neukölln του Βερολίνου και εξειδικεύτηκε στην Αλλεργιολογία στην πανεπιστημιακή κλινική Charité. Η Ζωγράφου Αγγελική MD, MSc, PhD είναι Δερματολόγος - Αφροδισιολόγος Ενηλίκων & Παίδων και διατηρεί ιδιωτικά ιατρεία στο κέντρο, στην Πλατεία Μαβίλη, αλλά και στην Γλυφάδα. Η Μαρία Μπακιρτζή γεννήθηκε στη Θεσσαλονίκη και ολοκλήρωσε τη βασική εκπαίδευση στο 13° Λύκειο.

Μετά από επιτυχείς πανελλαδικές εξετάσεις εισήχθη το 2002 στην ιατρική σχολή του Δημοκρίτειου Πανεπιστημίου Θράκης, από όπου και αποφοίτησε το 2008 με το βαθμό “λίαν καλώς”.

Αφού ολοκλήρωσε την υπηρεσία υπαίθρου το 2009 στο ΚΥ Πολυκάστρου, ξεκίνησε την τριετή εκπαίδευση στη γενική χειρουργική και αγγειοχειρουργική στο Klinikum Oberberg της Γερμανίας, την οποία ακολούθησε η εξάμηνη εκπαίδευση επειγοντολογίας στη μονάδα εντατικής θεραπείας.
