Η Τσικελούδη Μαρία είναι Δερματολόγος - Αφροδισιολόγος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο, στη Θεσσαλονίκη, ενώ, παράλληλα, διατηρεί ενεργή παρουσία στον ιδιωτικό τομέα στο Λονδίνο. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, εργάστηκε ως Επιμελήτρια στα νοσοκομεία Luton & Dunstable Hospital, όπου αργότερα διετέλεσε και Honorary Consultant στην Παιδοδερματολογία, στο Princess Alexandra Hospital και στο North Middlesex Hospital. Στο τελευταίο μάλιστα, ανέλαβε και τη διεύθυνση του Δερματολογικού Τμήματος και υπήρξε Συντονίστρια της Δερματοογκολογικής Ομάδας. Κατά τη διάρκεια της παραμονής της στο Λονδίνο, ασχολήθηκε εκτενώς με το γνωστικό αντικείμενο του καρκίνου του δέρματος, εστιάζοντας στην πρώιμη διάγνωση και αντιμετώπιση του.
