Κατά τη διάρκεια της μετεκπαίδευσής του εργάστηκε επίσης στο Hôpital Privé Jean Mermoz, αποκτώντας πρακτική εμπειρία σε εξειδικευμένες επεμβάσεις ώμου, σύνθετες βλάβες τενοντίου πετάλου, αστάθειες, αντιμετώπιση καταγμάτων και επανορθωτικές τεχνικές αρθροπλαστικής υψηλής δυσκολίας, υπό την καθοδήγηση διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένων χειρουργών. Έχει παρουσιάσει επιστημονικές εργασίες, τεχνικές και κλινικά δεδομένα σε πολυάριθμα συνέδρια στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, συμβάλλοντας στη διάδοση της σύγχρονης αρθροσκοπικής χειρουργικής και της ελάχιστα επεμβατικής προσέγγισης στις αθλητικές κακώσεις και στις παθήσεις του ώμου. Ο Λεωνίδου Ανδρέας PGDip, MSc, PhD, FACS, FRCS (Tr&Orth) είναι Ορθοπαιδικός Xειρουργός - Τραυματολόγος και Διδάκτωρ στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης με ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στο Μαρούσι. Παράλληλα, διατελεί Διευθυντής στο Ιατρικό Κέντρο Αθηνών στο Μαρούσι.
