Ο Διονύσιος Τριανταφύλλου MD, MSc, PhDc, FEBO είναι Χειρουργός Οφθαλμίατρος με εξειδίκευση στις παθήσεις και τις επεμβάσεις του κερατοειδούς και του προσθίου ημιμορίου. Ολοκλήρωσε την ειδικότητά του στην Οφθαλμολογία το 2022, λαμβάνοντας παράλληλα τον ευρωπαϊκό τίτλο Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (2021). Το έντονο ενδιαφέρον του για τον κερατοειδή, τις μεταμοσχεύσεις και τη διαθλαστική χειρουργική τον οδήγησε στο εθνικό σύστημα υγείας (NHS) του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου , όπου μετεκπαιδεύτηκε εντατικά. Κατείχε τις θέσεις του Cornea and anterior segment Fellow στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο του Newcastle (Royal Victoria Hospital) και στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο του Southampton. Σε ακαδημαϊκό επίπεδο, ολοκλήρωσε με άριστα το μεταπτυχιακό «Ιατρική μεθοδολογία της έρευνας»  από το Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης το 2020. Από το 2022 είναι υποψήφιος διδάκτωρ στο Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, με ερευνητικό αντικείμενο τη χρήση της συνεστιακής μικροσκοπίας στις παθήσεις του κερατοειδούς. Από το 2024, παρακολουθεί το δεύτερο μεταπτυχιακό του στο ΕΚΠΑ με τίτλο «Αντιμετώπιση Διαθλαστικών Εκτροπών και Διαθλαστικές Επεμβάσεις». Διαθέτει σημαντική ερευνητική εμπειρία, έχοντας συμμετάσχει ως co-investigator σε ευρωπαϊκά clinical trials, ενώ έχει συμβάλλει ενεργά στην εκπαίδευση ως εκπαιδευτής σε wet labs της Ευρωπαϊκής Εταιρίας Καταρράκτη και Διαθλαστικής Χειρουργικής (ESCRS) και του μεταπτυχιακού πργράμματος "Χειρουργική του Οφθαλμού" στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης.
