Ο Ασλανίδης Ιωάννης MD,PhD, F.R.C.Ophth,MBA είναι Οφθαλμίατρος με ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στο Ηράκλειο Κρήτης. Είναι Πρόεδρος του Ελληνικού Κολλεγίου Οφθαλμολογίας και ιδρυτής και ιατρικός διευθυντής της Εμμετρωπία ΑΕ. Εκπόνησε τη διδακτορική του διατριβή στο Πανεπιστήμιο Weill-Cornell Medical College της Νέας Υόρκης με θέμα "Υπέρηχοι πολύ υψηλής συχνότητας στη Διαθλαστική χειρουργική", ενώ παράλληλα εμπλούτισε επιμελώς την κλινική του εκπαίδευση και εμπειρία και σε άλλους τομείς της Οφθαλμολογίας στις ΗΠΑ. Εξειδικεύθηκε στη Νεύρο-Οφθαλμολογία στο πανεπιστήμιο SUNY (State university of New York.) και στο "Γλαύκωμα" στο διεθνούς φήμης νοσοκομείο Wills Eye Hospital, στο Πανεπιστήμιο Thomas Jefferson της Pennsylvania Philadelphia, HΠΑ. Επιπροσθέτως, εξειδικεύθηκε στις Παθήσεις Αμφιβληστροειδούς και της Ωχράς στο University of Toronto στον Καναδά, ενώ τo 1999-2000 σαν υπότροφος του Ιδρύματος Ωνάση εξειδικεύθηκε στη "Διαθλαστική Χειρουργική και Χειρουργική του Προσθίου ημιμορίου του Οφθαλμού" στο University of Newcastle της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας. Έχει διατελέσει Επιστημονικός Διευθυντής Διαθλαστικής Χειρουργικής του Βαρδινογιάννειου Εργαστηρίου Μικροχειρουργικής και Μεταμοσχεύσεων του Οφθαλμού (ΒΕΜΜΟ) της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης. Έχει ενεργό συμμετοχή σε πάνω από 300 δημοσιεύσεις, ανακοινώσεις, επιστημονικά άρθρα, κεφάλαια σε βιβλία, ή παρουσιάσεις σε ευρωπαϊκό ή παγκόσμιο επίπεδο και είναι εταίρος του Royal College of Ophthalmologists του Λονδίνου, ενώ έχει πραγματοποιήσει πάνω από 10.000 διαθλαστικές και άλλες οφθαλμολογικές επεμβάσεις και έχει εκπαιδεύσει μεγάλο αριθμό ημεδαπών και αλλοδαπών διαθλαστικών χειρούργων από όλο τον κόσμο. Επιπλέον, είναι καθηγητής Οφθαλμολογίας στο Weill - Cornell Medical College της Νέας Υόρκης, επισκέπτης καθηγητής στο Ιατρικό Πανεπιστήμιο Wenzhou της Κίνας και επιστημονικός σύμβουλος της ιατρικής βιομηχανίας λέιζερ και απεικονιστικών συστημάτων στην οφθαλμολογία. Τέλος, είναι μέλος της Επιστημονικής Επιτροπής της Ελληνικής Ολυμπιακής Επιτροπής.

Kontaksakis Anastasios MD, PhD, FEBO is a Military Ophthalmic Surgeon with a private practice in Chania. He holds a Doctorate from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, is a Consultant at the Ophthalmology Clinic of the Naval Hospital of Crete, and a diplomate of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO). He specialized in cataract microsurgery, refractive surgery for the correction of myopia/astigmatism/hyperopia, pediatric ophthalmology, and intravitreal injection of anti-VEGF agents for the treatment of macular diseases. He completed his specialty at the 1st University Ophthalmology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas". During his career, he served as Consultant at the Ophthalmology Clinic of the 251 Air Force General Hospital and as a collaborator of the Pediatric Ophthalmology department at the Euroclinic Children’s Hospital of Athens. At his private practice, he provides basic and specialized services covering the entire spectrum of ophthalmology, including refractive examination of adults and children, cataract assessment, glaucoma evaluation, and macular disease screening. Additionally, for surgical procedures, he collaborates with reputable hospitals and clinics such as the General Clinic Iasis Gavrilakis, the Therapeutic Center of Chania Kapakis, and the Athenian Refractive Laser Center.

Dr. Mpagkakis Antonis is an Ophthalmic Surgeon and operates an ophthalmology clinic in Rethymno, Crete. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and obtained his specialty in Ophthalmology at the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "Hippocratio." He received training in cataract surgery using the latest techniques, as well as in the examination and monitoring of children and infants. He has conducted research related to glaucoma patients and specialized in bloodless blepharoplasty using the PLEXR method. In his clinic, he utilizes various lasers such as YAG Laser (for secondary cataract, acute glaucoma) and Argon Laser (for retinal tears and diabetic retinopathy). He served as Treasurer of the Ophthalmological Society of Crete for five years. Finally, Dr. Mpagkakis is a member of both international and Greek Ophthalmological Societies and has participated in numerous conferences.
