He studied at the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specialized in Internal Medicine at the General Hospital of Kefalonia, and continued his training at the Kreiskrankenhaus St. Anna Höchstadt a.d Aisch hospital in Germany. He worked as a Dermatology - Venereology resident at the Haut- und Venenzentrum in Recklinghausen, Germany. There, he was responsible for the outpatient dermatology clinic, allergy testing and desensitization, dermatologic surgical procedures, as well as phlebological diagnostic tests, and the lower limb ulcer clinic. As part of his specialization, he participated as a speaker in educational seminars for the general public on skin-related topics. Therianou Anastasia is a Dermatologist - Venereologist and maintains a private practice in Neo Psychiko. Simultaneously, she is the Director of Dermatology at the world-renowned Imperial College NHS Trust in London and a Lecturer responsible for the medical students' Dermatology curriculum. She holds a PhD in Psoriasis, a collaboration between the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Tufts University in Boston, USA. She has trained and worked in leading university centers in central London, as well as in Italy, Greece, and the United States of America. She has conducted significant research in the field of Dermatology, which has been published in high-impact scientific journals. She participates in international conferences and is responsible for the fifth-year medical students' curriculum at Imperial College, one of the top ten universities in the world.
