Η διδακτορική της διατριβή είχε θέμα: "Ο ρόλος των νευροτροφινών NGF και BDNF στις γυναίκες με υπερδραστήρια κύστη και η συσχέτιση των επιπέδων τους με την κλινική εικόνα και την αποτελεσματικότητα της φαρμακευτικής θεραπείας", με ιδιαίτερο ερευνητικό ενδιαφέρον στις διαταραχές του πυελικού εδάφους και την ουρογυναικολογία.

Έχει ενεργή συμμετοχή σε ελληνικά και διεθνή ιατρικά συνέδρια, επιστημονικές δημοσιεύσεις σε έγκριτα περιοδικά και είναι πιστοποιημένη στη διαγνωστική κολποσκόπηση.

Stathis Theofanis MD, MSc is an Obstetrician - Gynecologist with a private practice in Exarchia. He holds a postgraduate degree in Reproductive - Regenerative Medicine and a Medical degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
