Nikolopoulos Aleksandros MD is an Orthopedic Surgeon - Traumatologist - Sports Medicine Specialist with a private practice in Daphne. He holds a degree from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Thessaly. He specialized at the General Surgery Clinic of the General Hospital of Karditsa and subsequently moved to Germany, where he continued his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at one of the largest orthopedic clinics in the country, St. Anna Hospital, Herne. For two football seasons, he served as the Sports Medicine Physician for the youth football academies of Schalke 04 e.V., accompanying the teams to home and away matches, gaining significant experience in the management of sports injuries. He worked at the distinguished University Hospital of Bochum, St Josef Hospital - Universitätsklinikum der Ruhr Universität Bochum, where he obtained the Medical Specialty title in Orthopedics and Traumatology and continued his career there as a Consultant. Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous international scientific conferences and seminars, including key topics such as: ultrasonographic neonatal diagnostics according to Graf for early detection of hip dysplasia, specialized traumatology under the auspices of AO Trauma, endoscopic spinal surgery, emergency pre-hospital medicine (Notarzt), pediatric orthopedics, arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery, microsurgery and arthroscopic surgery of the hand, reconstructive knee and hip surgery, among others. Dr. Tsapakidis Giannis was born in Larisa in 1975 and graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2000. He completed his Orthopedic specialty residency at Tzaneio General Hospital of Piraeus, with part of his training conducted at KAT Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital in London. He received a scholarship from AO and worked as a Fellow at the Sports Injuries and Trauma Center of Queens Medical Centre University Hospital in Nottingham. He is a PhD candidate at the University of Athens and a member of AO ALUMNI. Since 2006, he has served as the team physician for the women's basketball team “ESPERIDES” Kallithea (Women’s A1 Basketball Champion for 2006-07 and 2008-09 and Greek Cup Winner for 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08, and 2008-09). From 2015 to 2018, he was part of the medical team covering orthopedic concerns for the athletes of KAE AEK. Since 2013, he has provided medical coverage for the basketball team PROTEAS VOULAS and from 2015 to 2025 served as the medical provider for the athletes of the basketball team KAE AMAROUSIOU. From 2021 to 2023, he was the team physician for the WOMEN'S NATIONAL BASKETBALL TEAM, and from 2022 to 2024 for the team of PANIONIOS B.C.
