He holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed his Doctoral Thesis at the Medical School of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in Germany. He specialized in Otolaryngology at the University ENT Clinic Mainz, Germany, where he also worked as a Specialist Otolaryngologist-Registrar (Facharzt) after obtaining his specialty certification. During his military service, he served as a Unit Physician at the Special Forces Training Center in Nea Peramos, Attica, and as a Unit Physician at the 124 Combat Wing in Tripoli.
