For several years, he has worked as an Attending Physician at the University Intensive Care Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos" and as an Attending Physician and subsequently Director at the Intensive Care Unit of the Athens Medical Center. To this day, he serves as the Director Internist of the Athens Medical Center at the Maroussi Clinic and the Psychiko Clinic. He has participated in numerous conferences in Greece and abroad and has publications in Greek and international journals. Finally, a significant milestone in the doctor's medical career was in 1982, when he was awarded the "Sotiris Papastamatis Award" by the Medical Society of Athens for the best research work of the year: "The Concentration of 2,3-DPG in Red Blood Cells in Idiopathic Hypertension."
