He is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Leeds Medical School in England and has extensive experience in ophthalmic surgery. Maria Melisourgaki is an Ophthalmologist and runs the private practice EyeCheck in Neo Psychiko. She holds a medical degree from the Medical School of the University of Crete and specialized in Ophthalmology at the Venizeleio Hospital of Heraklion, Crete, and at the Athens Ophthalmology Clinic. She is responsible for the ophthalmology clinic at the Medifirst Polyclinic in Marousi and is an affiliated physician of the Athens Medi-clinic and the OMMA Ophthalmology Institute of Athens.
