In 2010, he served as a visiting Scientific Collaborator for six months in the Postgraduate Program of Periodontology and Implantology at Tufts University, Boston, USA. He served for many years in positions of responsibility within the Medical Corps of the Armed Forces, and from 2005 to 2021 he was Director of the Periodontology Department at the Athens Garrison Dental Clinic. He has been actively involved for several years in the educational activities of the Dental School of the University of Athens as a Scientific Collaborator in the Periodontology and Implantology Laboratories. To date, he has participated as a speaker in numerous conferences, and his work has been published in both Greek and international journals.
