He has notable training and specialization in diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, arterial hypertension, infections, and vitamin monitoring, and he is a member of the Athens Medical Association and the Hellenic Society for the Study of Hypertension. Maria Kalampogia - Polyxroni is a Pediatrician with a private practice in Neos Kosmos. She studied Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Subsequently, she specialized in Pediatrics at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Athens General Hospital "Elena Venizelou - Alexandra," the Pediatric Clinic of "Sismanoglio" General Hospital of Komotini, and the Second University Pediatric Clinic of the General Children's Hospital of Athens "P. & A. Kyriakou," where she obtained her specialty certification in November 2019. She has been trained in Neonatal Life Support, Basic Life Support and the use of Automated External Defibrillator (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation with Automated External Defibrillation BLS/AED), as well as in Advanced Pediatric Life Support (APLS). She has experience monitoring routine and emergency cases in children of all ages, having worked in the Pediatric Clinic at Metropolitan Hospital and Euroclinic Children’s Hospital, as well as in the Neonatal Department (Nursery) of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic "Gaia."
