Mastologist with experience in Breast examination in Prefecture of Achaea

Katsiakis Nikolaos is a Breast Surgeon with a private practice in Patras. He holds a degree from the Medical School of the University of Thessaly with a grade of 8.1/10. He has specialized in mastology and breast surgery. He possesses the European Board of Surgery certification in Breast Surgery (FEBS, Fellow of the European Board of Surgery in Breast). He trained in General Surgery as a resident physician at the University Surgical Clinic of Rio Hospital in Patras. He holds an MSc from the University of East Anglia (UEA, Norwich) in oncoplastic breast surgery. Additionally, he completed a fellowship in Breast Surgery at the Breast Unit of the University Gynecology Clinic of Heidelberg University, Germany (Brustzentrum, Frauenklinik, Uni – Heidelberg). He is a diploma holder of the Hellenic School of Mastology. He volunteers in numerous events organized by the Breast Cancer Women’s Association "Alma Zois" of Patras, delivering numerous lectures to women in the broader region of Western Greece, as well as examining and advising many women at the social clinics organized by the Association. Furthermore, he is a volunteer physician for the Scientific Mastology Society of Care and Support (E.M.E.I.S.) and participates in multiple missions to remote areas of Greece. Currently, in addition to his private practice, he sees patients at the Olympio Therapeutic Center in Patras, where he performs surgical cases. Finally, he has attended numerous conferences and seminars related to breast cancer, both as a speaker and participant, and has published his work in Greek and international scientific journals.
