Dr. Koura Sofia MD, MSc, PhDc is an Obstetrician – Gynecological Surgeon specializing in Breast pathology and surgery.

She currently works in the Breast Department of the 1st Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) as an Assistant Consultant B’, while simultaneously collaborating with the private clinics Iaso and Lefkos Stavros.

She is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Democritus University of Thrace, holder of the Postgraduate Program "Breast Diseases," and a PhD candidate at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).

She specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the 1st Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of NKUA and obtained her specialty certification in March 2022. Previously, she trained in General Surgery at the surgical clinic of the General Hospital of Didymoteicho, and completed her rural service at the Kyani Regional Clinic of Didymoteicho.

Ο Δρ. Ιωαννίδης Γεώργιος είναι Μαιευτήρας - Χειρουργός Γυναικολόγος με 20ετή εμπειρία και ειδίκευση τη διερεύνηση της υπογονιμότητας, την Υποβοηθούμενη Αναπαραγωγή και Εξωσωματική Γονιμοποίηση καθώς και την Αναπαραγωγική Λαπαροσκοπική -Υστεροσκοπική Χειρουργική. Εκατοντάδες παιδιά έχουν γεννηθεί μέχρι σήμερα στην Ελλάδα και την Μεγάλη Βρετανία από τον ίδιο μετά από κύκλους εξωσωματικής γονιμοποίησης που πραγματοποίησε. Στη συνέχεια εξειδικεύτηκε μέχρι το 2005 σε όλες τις τεχνικές υποβοήθησης αναπαραγωγής, εξωσωματικής γονιμοποίησης στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο Hammersmith του Λονδίνου, υπό τον διάσημο και πρωτοπόρο στην εξωσωματική γονιμοποίηση Καθηγητή Λόρδο Robert Winston. Επίσης έλαβε περαιτέρω εξειδίκευση σε προχωρημένες τεχνικές λαπαροσκοπικής και υστεροσκοπικής χειρουργικής στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο Ulleval του Όσλο. Το 2001 απέκτησε την Ευρωπαϊκή πιστοποίηση Κολποσκόπησης από το Βασιλικό Κολλέγιο Μαιευτήρων - Γυναικολόγων του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου, ενώ το 2002 πιστοποιήθηκε από το Family Planning Association της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας. Το 2005, με την επιστροφή του από το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και τη Νορβηγία, εντάχθηκε στο Νοσοκομείο ΜΗΤΕΡΑ στην Αθήνα, ως Μαιευτήρας Γυναικολόγος με εξειδίκευση στην Εξωσωματική Γονιμοποίηση και τη Λαπαροσκοπική - Υστεροσκοπική Χειρουργική. Το 2005 ιδρύει το ιδιωτικό κέντρο Αναπαραγωγής “gonimotis” στην Αθήνα. Από το 2005 έως σήμερα εργάζεται συνεχώς στη μονάδα Υποβοηθούμενης Αναπαραγωγής του ΜΗΤΕΡΑ. Διετέλεσε Επιστημονικός Υπεύθυνος της Μονάδας Εξωσωματικής ΜΗΤΕΡΑ IVF από το 2012 έως το 2013 και από το 2015 έως το 2017. Το 2017 είχε την τιμή να εκλεγεί Τακτικό Ακαδημαϊκό Μέλος της Ευρωπαϊκής Ακαδημίας Επιστημών (Euromediterranean Academy of Sciences). Το 2018, η σταθερή του δέσμευση στη ζωή τον ώθησε να γίνει μέλος της Ιατρικής Γυναικολογικής Ομάδας IVF της HOPEgenesis που προσπαθεί να ανατρέπει το κλίμα της υπογονιμότητας-υπογεννητικότητας στην Ελλάδα. Ιωαννίδης είναι μέλος πολλών διεθνών επιστημονικών εταιρειών όπως η Ευρωπαϊκή Εταιρεία Ανθρώπινης Αναπαραγωγής και Εμβρυολογίας (ESHRE) και η Αμερικανική Εταιρεία Αναπαραγωγικής Ιατρικής (ASRM). Sofia Balamoti is a Gynecologist - Obstetrician - Mastologist and maintains a private practice in the Panormos area (Apollon Tower, 64 Louiza Rianpour Street). She studied Medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and completed her postgraduate studies in "Pathology of Pregnancy" at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Additionally, she has received specialized training in Breast Surgical Oncology at Frimley Park Hospital in the United Kingdom. She possesses significant clinical experience both in Greece and abroad and collaborates with major clinics and hospitals in Attica. She deals with benign breast conditions such as mastodynia, fibroadenomas, and breast cysts, while also offering comprehensive breast examination aimed at the early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, combining the most modern methods of reconstruction following breast surgeries. Andrikopoulos Spyros is a Breast Specialist and Director of the Surgical Clinic at the White Cross Athens. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras and trained at the Piraeus Anti-Cancer Hospital "Metaxa," the State Hospital of Nikaia, and the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos." After completing his specialty, he undertook further training in Breast Surgery at Hereford Hospitals NHS Trust in the United Kingdom. He has participated in numerous research protocols both in the United Kingdom and Greece, with a primary scientific interest in Breast Oncology. He has been responsible for the surveillance of women for Breast Cancer prevention, as well as Breast Surgery and Surgical Oncology. To date, he collaborates with many private hospitals in Athens, including the Hygeia Hospital, the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic “IASO,” the Metropolitan General Hospital, the Gynecological, Obstetric, and Surgical Center “Leto,” and the “Mitera” Hospital. Finally, the physician is a member of numerous Greek and European Scientific Societies and Associations.

Klontzas Theodosios is a Gynecologist - Obstetrician and maintains a private practice in the Gkyzi area. He was born in 1976 to distinguished physician parents from Athens. In 1995, he was admitted through examinations to the medical school of Universitas Carolina Pragensis, which is one of the oldest (established in 1348) and most reputable universities in Europe. In these examinations, he achieved the highest overall score among the candidates and ranked first in the admission success list. In 2001, he obtained his medical degree from this university. In 2012, he received the title of obstetrician-gynecological surgeon from the University Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of P.G.N.L., which is a certified European training center in obstetrics and gynecology accredited by the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG). In 2014, he began operating his private practice in the center of Athens. In 2021, he assumed the position of professor of obstetrics and gynecology in postgraduate education. In 2023, he was appointed as the scientific supervisor of the gynecological department at the Bioclab polyclinic.
