Σπούδασε στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων και ολοκλήρωσε την ειδικότητα της Νευροχειρουργικής στην Πανεπιστημιακή Νευροχειρουργική Κλινική του Νοσοκομείου ΑΧΕΠΑ στη Θεσσαλονίκη.
