Markopoulos Xristos is an Orthopedic Surgeon and a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the University of Athens, with a private practice in Marousi. Concurrently, he serves as a Consultant in the Upper Limb and Microsurgery Department at YGEIA Hospital and has been a member of the medical team for the Panathinaikos BC basketball team. Tsatsaronis Xristos was born in Athens. He completed high school in Kypseli and was admitted through the Panhellenic Examinations to the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He specialized in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at KAT Hospital, where he also trained, among other fields, in Microsurgery. He has worked in both the private and public sectors in Greece and abroad. Among other roles, he served as the physician for the National Under-21 Football Team for one year, for the Judo Team of the National Gymnastic Association for over ten years, as team doctor for the Molaikos Laconia club, as a race doctor for the "Zirineia" Athletics competitions, as well as for the National Judo Team.
