Το συγγραφικό του έργο περιλαμβάνει πολυάριθμα άρθρα σε διεθνή και εγχώρια περιοδικά καθώς και κεφάλαια σε βιβλία, ενώ είναι και κριτής άρθρων σε διεθνή περιοδικά Ορθοπαιδικής. Έχει συμμετάσχει ενεργά σε πληθώρα εγχώριων και διεθνών επιστημονικών συναντήσεων ενώ έχει λάβει πολλαπλές υποτροφίες από εγχώριες και διεθνείς επιστημονικές εταιρείες. Ιδιαίτερο επιστημονικό ενδιαφέρον του αποτελούν η αρθροσκοπική χειρουργική, η ελάχιστης επεμβατικότητας επανορθωτική χειρουργική καθώς και η ορθοπαιδική έρευνα. Τέλος, ο ιατρός διατελεί, παράλληλα με το ιδιωτικό του ιατρείο και Επιμελητής Ορθοπαιδικός Χειρουργός στο Τμήμα Αθλητικών Κακώσεων του Θεραπευτηρίου Metropolitan Hospital.

Dr Spiliotopoulos Georgios is a graduate of Medical School and a PhD candidate in Orthopedics at the University of Patras. He specialized at the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens and further specialized in Orthopedic Sports Medicine and modern minimally invasive surgical corrective techniques (MIS). Since 2018, he has been a Forensic Orthopedic Expert (technical consultant) for major insurance companies. He maintains a clinic in Neo Psychiko and is the head of the surgical team OrthoSoma (Ortho-Body).
