Έκανα καλλιέργεια και βγήκα θετική στο e.coli. Πρέπει να πάρει ο σύντροφός μου αντιβίωση;
Έκανα καλλιέργεια και βγήκα θετική στο e.coli.Ειχα έρθει σε επαφή με τον σύντροφό μου.Πρέπει να πάρει και αυτός αντιβίωση ή να κάνει πρώτα κάποια γενική/καλλιέργεια ούρων;

Καλησπέρα. Το E. coli προέρχεται φυσιολογικά από το έντερό μας και μπορεί να προκαλέσει ουρολοιμώξεις όταν βρεθεί στο ουροποιητικό σύστημα. Δεν είναι ένα τυπικό ΣΜΝ, οπότε η μετάδοσή του κατά τη διάρκεια της σεξουαλικής επαφής δεν είναι πολύ πιθανή. Αν ο σύντροφός σου δεν εμφανίζει συμπτώματα, δεν χρειάζεται να ανησυχεί. Εαν όμως έχει συμπτώματα, μπορεί να κάνει μια καλλιέργεια ούρων για να σιγουρευτεί.
