Είμαι 50 χρόνων και είχα το Mirena μέχρι τον Ιανουάριο, οπότε ο γυναικολόγος μου μου είπε να το αφαιρέσω αφού οι ορμονολογικες μου εξετάσεις του Σεπτέμβρη έδειχναν εμμηνόπαυση όπως είπε: Ε2 19, FSH 79.4, LH 54.87. Να σημειώσω ότι δεν είχα ούτε έχω οποιοδήποτε συμπτωμα που να σχετιζεται με εμμηνοπαυση, πέραν της απουσιας περιόδου λόγω του Mirena. Από αρχές Μαρτιου βλέπω κανονικά περίοδο, κάθε 26 μέρες. Έκανα από μόνη μου ξανά ορμονολογικες την 3η μερα περιοδου: Ε2 72, FSH 12.9, LH 13.34, PRL 302, PRG 0.95. Τελικά είμαι σε εμμηνόπαυση ή όχι? Υπηρχε λόγος να αφαιρεθεί το Mirena? Μπορώ εάν επιθυμώ να το ξαναβάλω? Ευχαριστώ.

Καλησπέρα σας. Με βάση τις πρόσφατες εξετάσεις και την περίοδο σας, δεν φαίνεται να είστε σε εμμηνόπαυση αυτή τη στιγμή, παρά τα αρχικά αποτελέσματα. Ίσως τότε να υπήρξε κάποια παροδική ορμονική διακύμανση.
Το Mirena δεν ήταν λάθος να αφαιρεθεί με τα προηγούμενα δεδομένα, αλλά αν σας εξυπηρετούσε και το θέλετε ξανά, μπορείτε φυσικά να το ξαναβάλετε.
