Kaponi Afroditi is a Neurologist, Director of the A' Neurological Clinic at Metropolitan General in Cholargos, and of the Electroencephalography and Brain Mapping Laboratory. She also maintains a private practice in Cholargos. She graduated from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich Medical School, completed her Neurology specialization in Germany, and continued her training at the Neurological Clinic of the University of Athens at Aeginiteio Hospital. Η Καλλιγιάννη Μαριβίκη MD, MSc είναι Ειδική Νευρολόγος, γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στο Ηράκλειο Κρήτης, όπου διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο. Εισήχθη στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης το 2006, από όπου και αποφοίτησε το 2012 με βαθμό Λίαν Καλώς. Το 2018 ολοκλήρωσε το Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα Σπουδών «Νευροεπιστήμες» του τμήματος Ιατρικής του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης με βαθμό 8.15, ενώ η πτυχιακή της εργασία πάνω στην Πολλαπλή Σκλήρυνση βαθμολογήθηκε με άριστα 9.5. Ολοκλήρωσε την ειδίκευσή της στη Νευρολογία στην Νευρολογική Κλινική του Πανεπιστημιακού Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Ηρακλείου, έχοντας εκπαιδευτεί άρτια στη διαχείριση μίας πλειάδας νευρολογικών περιστατικών, όπως αγγειακά εγκεφαλικά επεισόδια, άνοια, Πάρκινσον, Πολλαπλή Σκλήρυνση, ημικρανία και λοιπές κεφαλαλγίες, επιληψία, μυασθένεια, πολυνευροπάθειες, μυοπάθειες. Παράλληλα με το κλινικό της έργο, ασχολήθηκε ενεργά επί σειρά ετών με τη διδασκαλία των προπτυχιακών φοιτητών Ιατρικής του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης, τόσο διδάσκοντας στο μάθημα της Νευρολογίας 7ου εξαμήνου, όσο και εκπαιδεύοντας τους 6ο ετείς φοιτητές κατά την κλινική τους άσκηση. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε πλήθος διεθνών και ελληνικών συνεδρίων με προφορικές παρουσιάσεις και posters. Επιπλέον, δημοσιεύσεις της υπάρχουν στο έγκριτο επιστημονικό περιοδικό «Νευροανοσολογία». Είναι ενεργό μέλος της Ευρωπαϊκής Ακαδημίας Νευρολογίας (ΕΑΝ) από το 2018, συμμετέχοντας τακτικά σε όλες τις εκπαιδευτικές δραστηριότητες του φορέα. Συμμετέχει τακτικά σε διεθνή προγράμματα Συνεχιζόμενης Ιατρικής Εκπαίδευσης (CME). Διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο από το 2022 στο Ηράκλειο Κρήτης και στο Αρκαλοχώρι με ειδικό ενδιαφέρον για τις κεφαλαλγίες. Dr. Petrou Mixail MD is a Neurologist who maintains a private practice in Chania. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and holds a Diploma in Clinical Neurology from University College London (UCL) - Queen Square Institute of Neurology in the United Kingdom.
