Konstantinos Mpalampanis MD, PhD is a Pathologist - Diabetologist with private clinics in Piraeus, Salamina, and Athens. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the University of Patras, where he also earned his medical degree. He is certified in SCOPE (World Obesity Federation), BLS/AED (Basic Life Support), and ILS/AED (Immediate Life Support) by the European Resuscitation Council. He completed his specialty training in Pathology at the 2nd Propaedeutic Pathological Clinic of the University of Athens and has since been a University Fellow in Pathology - Diabetes Mellitus and Obesity at the 2nd Propaedeutic Pathological Clinic of the University of Athens and the Research Unit of "Attikon" Hospital. Since 2013, as part of his tenure at the 2nd Propaedeutic Clinic of the University of Athens - Diabetology Center, he participates daily in the activities of the Diabetes Clinic of the 2nd Propaedeutic Pathological Clinic, contributes to its operations, and has served as a Sub Investigator in over 18 multicenter studies (phase 2 & 3) focusing on Diabetes Mellitus, Obesity, Fatty Liver Disease, and Lipodystrophies. This activity continues to the present. According to the new provisions of the law and its transitional arrangements, he officially holds the specialization title of "DIABETOLOGIST" since 2021. He has a substantial body of research and teaching work and has participated in conferences and seminars both in Greece and internationally. Finally, it is worth noting that in his private practice, he offers, among other services, specialized diabetes, pre-diabetes, and obesity screening, as well as dietary services (through collaboration with Dietitians - Nutritionists within the private clinic spaces), always fully understanding the individual needs of each patient.

Dr. Amalia Iliopoulou MD, MRCP is an Endocrinologist - Diabetologist and maintains a private practice in Kolonaki. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens, where she was admitted with a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation for her excellent performance in the Panhellenic Examinations. She completed her entire specialty training in the United Kingdom, where she obtained certification in Endocrinology - Diabetes and Internal Medicine. In England, she worked for 10 years, reaching the position of Director of Endocrinology at St James University Hospital, Leeds. Additionally, she was honored to be elected a member of the Royal College of Physicians of London following competitive examination (MRCP London). She returned to Greece at the end of 2013 and has operated her private clinic since 2014, while also serving as a Scientific Collaborator in the Endocrinology Department of Aretaieio Hospital. She attends seminars and medical conferences in her field, mainly in the UK. Finally, she specializes in thyroid and parathyroid gland disorders, diabetes mellitus, obesity, and metabolism, and also manages other conditions such as infertility, pituitary disorders, adrenal diseases, and polycystic ovary syndrome.

Charalampos Margaritidis is a Specialist in Internal Medicine - Diabetology and PhD in Pathology - Diabetology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He maintains a private practice in Serres and graduated with Excellence from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). He specialized in Internal Medicine at the General Hospital of Serres and the University General Hospital of Thessaloniki "AHEPA". He holds a certified specialization in Diabetes Mellitus following examinations. Since 2007, he has also served as a scientific collaborator at the diabetes center of the 1st Propedeutic Internal Medicine Clinic of the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "AHEPA". He has participated in numerous scientific studies and publications related to Diabetes Mellitus.

Dr. Kaza Maria, MD, MSc, PhD, is a Endocrinologist – Diabetologist | Metabolism Specialist and maintains a private practice in Gerakas. She is a contracted Lecturer at the Department of Pharmacy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She holds a doctorate with honors from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a doctoral thesis entitled "The effect of physical activity on the physical and mental well-being of children and adolescents with diabetes mellitus". She completed with Distinction her postgraduate studies in Endocrinology and Diabetes (MSc in Endocrinology and Diabetes) at the Medical School of Queen Mary University of London (Queen Mary University of London, Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry UK) and is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Patras. Her research and academic activities further include publications in international medical journals, participation in Greek and international conferences, as well as teaching experience at the Dietetics and Sport Science departments of Metropolitan and Mediterranean College. She is a member of the Hellenic Endocrinological Society, the General Medical Council (GMC) of the United Kingdom, and the Athens Medical Association. Sotiropoulos Konstantinos is a Pathologist - Diabetologist and maintains a private practice in Nea Erythraia. He holds a Doctorate from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as a Master’s degree (MSc) in Endocrinology from the same institution. He received further training in the field of diabetes mellitus and diabetic complications at the Vascular Cell Biology and Diabetic Complications Department at the Joslin Diabetes Center of Harvard Medical School in Boston. Subsequently, he took a salaried position at the Joslin Diabetes Center, participating in clinical protocols involving diabetic patients, gaining both clinical and research experience. He has been clinically involved in Pathology, the management of diabetes mellitus, and its complications continuously for over 20 years, having worked in hospitals throughout Greece. In recent years, he has also been engaged in Geriatrics, working in hospitals of the National Health System of the United Kingdom. Throughout his extensive career, he has received numerous distinctions and awards in Greece and abroad for his research work and has a prolific number of scientific publications in both Greek and international journals.

Dr Aggelopoulos Theodoros is an Internal Medicine Physician - Diabetologist and maintains his private practice in Perama, Attica. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a medical degree from the Medical School of the University of Patras. He specialized in Internal Medicine at the 1st Propaedeutic Internal Medicine Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko." Furthermore, he specialized in Diabetes Mellitus at the Diabetes Center of the 1st Propaedeutic Internal Medicine Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko" and in Preventive Medicine and Emergency Care at Queen Elizabeth Hospital KL and Maidstone Kent in England. He serves as an Attending Internal Medicine Physician - Diabetologist at the 2nd Internal Medicine Clinic of the Medical Center of Palaio Faliro and is the director of the Metabolism - Obesity Clinic at the Medical Center of Palaio Faliro. Finally, he achieved first place in the 1st Medical Knowledge Competition, held during the 38th Panhellenic Medical Congress, with a prize of a four-month scholarship at the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens.

Poimenidou Eirini is a Diabetologist and maintains a private practice in Komotini. She graduated from the Medical School of the State Medical Academy "I.M. Sechenov" in Moscow. She specialized in Pathology at the General Hospital of Xanthi and in Endocrinology at the Cancer Hospital of Thessaloniki "Theageneio." She has worked as an Endocrinologist at the outpatient clinic of Urban Polyclinic No. 68 in Moscow and served as a physician in the MSF project for the medical and pharmaceutical care of residents at the Pre-Departure Detention Center for Immigrants in Komotini with Doctors Without Borders. Maria Mpalogianni is a Specialist Pathologist and has maintained a private practice in Nea Smyrni since 2011. She holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. After her rural service, she completed a clinical attachment at Whittington Hospital in London in Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, and Emergency Medicine. Spyros Georgios is a Diabetologist and maintains a private clinic in Nea Smyrni. He completed his specialty training at Laiko Hospital and undertook clinical and laboratory training in diabetes mellitus at the Diabetology Clinic of the First Propaedeutic Department of the University of Athens.

Dr. Eleni Tsaroucha is a specialist in internal medicine and diabetes and has a private practice in Volos. She was admitted to the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens through the Panhellenic Examinations, from which she graduated after the required six years of study with a grade of 8.1. She received her specialization in Internal Medicine and her subspecialization in Diabetology at some of the largest hospitals in Germany, under the supervision and guidance of internationally renowned professors. She is a graduate of the internationally renowned Herz und Diabeteszentrum NRW at the University of Bochum, which in 2018 won the award for the best hospital in Germany for patients with diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular diseases. In this context, she specializes in diabetes mellitus, its possible complications, and their treatment and prevention. At the academic level, Dr. Eleni Tsaroucha holds a PhD from the Medical School of Freiburg, Germany, with a summa cum laude degree in diabetes mellitus. She holds a master's degree in health economics from FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg University, with a focus on diabetes mellitus. She has contributed to studies published in prestigious international scientific journals and has given numerous speeches at conferences and presentations. At her clinic, patients receive comprehensive and systematic care, including a complete medical history, physical examination, diagnostic tests, and a comprehensive assessment of their symptoms, which is the cornerstone of proper diagnosis and effective treatment. Pappas Aggelos is an Internist - Diabetologist who maintains a private practice in Heraklion, Crete. He received advanced training in Diabetes Mellitus at the Diabetes Department of the General Hospital of Athens "Hippocrates" and at Kings College Hospital. He has extensive clinical experience and has served as an NHS Director and Head of the Diabetes Center at the General Hospital of Heraklion "Venizeleio".

Η Λάσπα Έλενα είναι Ενδοκρινολόγος - Διαβητολόγος και διατηρεί το ιδιωτικό της ιατρείο στο Χαλάνδρι. Μέσω πανελληνίων εξετάσεων εισήχθη στην Ιατρική Σχολή Αθηνών το 1990. Μετά από γραπτό διαγωνισμό έλαβε και διατήρησε για όλη τη διάρκεια των σπουδών την υποτροφία του κληροδοτήματος "Αντωνίου Παπαδάκη". Μετά την αποφοίτηση της τον Ιούλιο του 1996 εκπλήρωσε την υπηρεσίας υπαίθρου, στην διάρκεια της οποίας πήρε απόσπαση για τις εφημερίες της στην μονάδα εμφραγμάτων του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Πρεβέζης. Εν συνεχεία ειδικεύτηκε για 2 έτη στην παθολογία ως προαπαιτούμενη εκπαίδευση για την κύρια ειδικότητα. Εξειδικεύθηκε στην ειδικότητα της Ενδοκρινολογίας στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο Ιωαννίνων υπό τη διεύθυνση του καθηγητή Α.Τσατσούλη. Ολοκλήρωσε το τελευταίο τμήμα της την ειδικότητας στο St.Mary’s Hospital του Λονδίνου, όπου εξειδικέυθηκε στο υπερηχογράφημα τραχήλου και στις καθοδηγούμενες υπερηχογραφικά παρακεντήσεις όζων θυρεοειδούς αδένα. Παράλληλα με την κλινική της δραστηριότητα στο Λονδίνο, συμμετείχε σε ερευνητικά προγράμματα μελέτης της μεταβλητότητας παραγόντων κινδύνου για την εμφάνιση διαταραχής ανοχής γλυκόζης και αθηροσκληρωτικής νόσου. Μετά το πέρας της ειδικότητας παρέμεινε επιστημονικά ενεργή με την συμμετοχή της σε έρευνες του Πανεπιστημιακού Νοσοκομείου Ιωαννίνων για τον καρκίνο του θυρεοειδούς, για τις ανάγκες της οποίας ανέλαβε μεγάλο αριθμό παρακεντήσεων όζων θυρεοειδούς. Έχει συμμετάσχει ως κλινικός ερευνητής στην Διεθνή κλινική μελέτη Lantus HOE901/3505: ATLANTUS. Επίσης συμμετείχε ως ομιλητής σε πλήθος ελληνικών και διεθνών συνεδρίων. Διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά έχουν φιλοξενήσει δημοσιεύσεις της. Το 2015 έγραψε το κεφάλαιο "Παραθυρεοειδείς αδένες και μεταβολισμός των οστών" στο διαδικτυακό πόνημα "Σύγχρονο εγχειρίδιο Ενδοκρινολογίας". Το 2016 έγραψε το κεφάλαιο "Pseudohypoparathyroid States" στην Εγκυκλοπαίδεια Ενδοκρινικών Νοσημάτων (Encyclopedia of Endocrine Diseases). Το 2019 ολοκλήρωσε το εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα «Health Coach» του Κέντρου Επιμόρφωσης και Δια Βίου Μάθησης του Εθνικού Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Είναι ένα πρόγραμμα το οποίο προσφέρει γνώσεις και εφόδια «προπονητή υγείας» ,ώστε ο ιατρός με μοντέλα ειδικής προσέγγισης και μεθοδολογίας να ενδυναμώσει τον κάθε άνθρωπο να αλλάξει βλαπτικές συνήθειες και συμπεριφορές και να επιτύχει τους στόχους υγείας που θέτει. Dr. Papadopoulou Efi, MD, MSc, PhD, is an Internist - Diabetologist and maintains a private practice in Ampelokipoi. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras, holds a Master's Degree specializing in Diabetes Mellitus and Obesity, as well as a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a medical specialization in Diabetes Mellitus.
