The Center for Emotional Development and Special Education Ek Vatheon - Ziotopoulou Euaggelia is located in Peristeri. The founder and director of the center is Ms. Ek Vatheon - Ziotopoulou Euaggelia Kai Synergates, Psychologist – Family Counselor with postgraduate studies in Counseling & Person-Centered Psychotherapy, Certified Trainer of the Parent Effectiveness Training (P.E.T.) Workshop. She has been trained in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and has received further training in Special Education & Education of individuals with disabilities from the Association of Prenatal & Perinatal Psychology & Health (APPPHA). At the Ek Vatheon Center, the vision shared by all collaborators is a world where parents are properly prepared for their new role, welcome their children into their embrace as they have dreamed, and have a support network of people beside them to help raise their children in an atmosphere of empathy and love! A specialized team of psychologists and child psychologists supports parents in developing trusting relationships with their babies by educating them in positive and gentle parenting through Attachment Parenting (support with breastfeeding, sleep difficulties, nutrition, separation, etc.). Additionally, experienced speech therapists, occupational therapists, and special educators welcome children and adolescents and help them fully develop their potential, uniqueness, and individuality.
