Dr. Xristoforidis Xristos, M.D., MSc, FEBS-Neck Endocrine, is an Endocrine Surgeon specializing in the surgical treatment of endocrine glands. He maintains a private practice in Athens, in the Ampelokipoi area, as well as in Nicosia, Cyprus. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Crete and pursued a specialty in General Surgery. He obtained the title of General Surgeon after successfully passing written and oral examinations in 2013. He is exclusively engaged and specialized in neck surgery (thyroid and parathyroid glands). Following successful examinations by the European Board of Surgery (EBS) in 2017, held in Oxford, he received the title and international certification as Fellow of the European Board of Surgery – Neck Endocrine (FEBS – Neck Endocrine). Additionally, he has been certified by leading international experts in his field in intraoperative nerve stimulation and neuromonitoring by the International Neural Monitoring Study Group (INMSG) in 2017. The Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki awarded him a Master's Degree in Medical Research Methodology (MSc in Medical Research Methodology) in 2018, and his postgraduate thesis has already been published. He also has the honor of participating as an invited speaker at numerous national and international conferences, delivering lectures or presenting research in his area of expertise. Since 2017, he has served as Deputy Director of the Endocrine Surgery Department at Errikos Dynan Hospital Center. Finally, as of October 2021, he has been enrolled in the General Healthcare System (GESY) in Cyprus and operates in a private clinic in Nicosia.
