Gynecologists - Obstetricians in Prefecture of Lefkada

Kalogirou Georgios is a Gynecologist - Obstetrician and a PhD candidate at the Medical School of Athens, maintaining a private practice in Ampelokipoi. He studied Medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and specialized in Obstetrics - Gynecology at the University Maternity Hospital Limerick and the General Hospital - Maternity "Elena Venizelou". Additionally, as part of his ongoing professional development, he holds certifications in ATLS, ALSO, ALSG, among others, from major hospitals in Athens, and a Master's degree in Assisted Reproduction from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Pasxalidou Eleni is a Gynecologist - Obstetrician, a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Crete, and a PhD candidate at the University of Athens. She maintains a private practice in Chalandri and concurrently serves as a scientific collaborator in the 2nd Obstetric and Gynecological Clinic of the University of Athens, at "Aretaieio" Hospital in the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology and Reconstructive Surgery. She specialized at the Surgical Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Elpis," at the Obstetric and Gynecological Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas," as well as at the 2nd Obstetric and Gynecological Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, at Aretaieio Hospital, a Certified European Training Centre in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the European College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Finally, she has participated in numerous Greek and international conferences and seminars, presenting scientific papers at many of them.

Euthymiou Ilias is a Gynecologist - Obstetrician who maintains a private practice in Ampelokipoi. He studied at the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and completed postgraduate studies in Reproductive and Regenerative Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He specialized in assisted reproduction at the CRGH Fertility Clinic in London. He is certified in performing vaginal ultrasound by the British Fertility Society (BFS), particularly in 3D ultrasound techniques and Hyterosonography within the framework of investigating and treating infertility. He has significant clinical experience, with his clinical interest focusing on reproductive endocrinology and innovative alternative treatments for patients with repeated implantation failures.

Ο Φανουργιάκης Αλέξανδρος είναι Γυναικολόγος - Μαιευτήρας και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στους Αμπελοκήπους. Παράλληλα, είναι συνεργάτης της Μαιευτικής - Γυναικολογικής Κλινικής ‘’ΙΑΣΩ’’ και μέλος της ομάδας Ελάχιστα Επεμβατικής Χειρουργικής της. Σπούδασε στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και έλαβε τον τίτλο της ειδικότητας της Μαιευτικής και Γυναικολογίας το 2018, κατόπιν εκπαίδευσης στα νοσοκομεία ‘’Ελπίς’’, ‘’Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Κορίνθου’’ και ‘’‘Ελενα Βενιζέλου’’. Έχει εξειδικευτεί στην Ουρογυναικολογία στο Νοσοκομείο Whittington του Λονδίνου, όπου διετέλεσε μέλος της ιατρικής ομάδας της Τριτοβάθμιας Κλινικής Χρόνιων Ουρολοιμώξεων και Διαταραχών Κατώτερου Ουροποιητικού Συστήματος, η οποία είναι η μοναδική του είδους στη χώρα. Το παρόν διάστημα, πραγματοποιεί μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές με αντικείμενο την Ελάχιστα Επεμβατική και Ρομποτική Χειρουργική στο Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών. Διαθέτει σημαντική εμπειρία στην αντιμετώπιση ποικίλων και περίπλοκων περιστατικών από όλο το φάσμα της Μαιευτικής και Γυναικολογίας, όπως κυήσεων υψηλού κινδύνου, καλοήθων και κακοήθων παθήσεων γεννητικού συστήματος, ορμονικών διαταραχών και διαταραχών εμμηνόπαυσης καθώς και οι διαταραχές του πυελικού εδάφους, όπως η πρόπτωση πυελικών οργάνων, η ακράτεια ούρων και οι κακώσεις περινέου. Έχει συμμετάσχει ως ομιλητής σε πληθώρα ιατρικών συνεδρίων στην Ελλάδα και το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, ενώ εργασίες του έχουν δημοσιευτεί σε ελληνικά και διεθνή περιοδικά. Τέλος, αποτέλεσε μέλος της συγγραφικής ομάδας της τελευταίας έκδοσης του ‘’Textbook of Female Urology and Urogynaecology’’, ενός εκ των σημαντικότερων εγχειριδίων Ουρογυναικολογίας παγκοσμίως.
