Kalentzos Vasileios MD, MPH is a Hyperbaric and Diving Physician who maintains a private practice in Marousi, while also serving as the Director of the Diving & Hyperbaric Medicine Unit at the Navy Hospital of Athens. He entered the Military Academy of Officers and graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, serving in the Hellenic Navy. He obtained his specialty following rotational training at the Navy Hospital of Athens and the Wolfson Hyperbaric Medicine Unit - Ninewells Hospital in the United Kingdom. He holds a Master's degree (MPH) in Public Health from the University of Dundee and is an instructor in life support seminars. He is the organizer of the Diving & Hyperbaric Medicine & Nursing Seminar at the Navy Hospital of Athens, has given numerous presentations at University Clinics and Continuing Education Seminars, and has published articles and authored book chapters on topics related to Hyperbaric Medicine. Finally, the physician is a member of the Athens Medical Association, the European Underwater and Baromedical Society, and the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society.
