She has also participated in clinical studies and research protocols for new drugs at both the 1st and 3rd University Dermatology Clinics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She specializes in clinical dermatology for children and pregnant women and is certified in aesthetic dermatology in London. Dermatologist – Venereologist Papathoma Sofia is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) (2004) and the Dental School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) (2013). She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Basic Principles of Oncology from NKUA (2005) as well as in Health Unit Management from CNAM. She trained in Pathology at the General Hospital G. Papanikolaou in Thessaloniki for two years from 2008-2010 and completed her mandatory rural service (Agrotiko) from 2010-2011 at the Kalandra Regional Clinic and the Kassandreia Health Center in Chalkidiki. She was a scientific collaborator of the Oral Medicine Clinic at the Dental School of AUTH. She completed her specialization at the Hospital for Venereal and Dermatological Diseases of Thessaloniki, where she obtained her specialist title.
