Μπορεί να γίνει FNA για πρησμένους λεμφαδένες χωρίς πρόταση γιατρού;
Καλησπέρα σας. Ο γιος μου, 33 ετών, έχει από καιρό (2014) πρησμένους λεμφαδένες στις μασχάλες, στο λαιμό του, στην κοιλιά και στη βουβωνική χώρα. Για μεγάλο διάστημα, τον παρακολουθούσαν στο αιματολογικό του Λαϊκού νοσοκομείου, αλλά χωρίς να έχει γίνει κάποιας μορφής θεραπεία. Εδώ και δυο χρόνια, σταμάτησε να πηγαίνει στο νοσοκομείο, για την τακτική παρακολούθηση, αλλά η διόγκωση των λεμφαδένων παραμένει. Ο ίδιος επιθυμεί να του γίνει FNA, ώστε να ληφθεί δείγμα για κυτταρολογικη εξέταση. Μπορούμε να προχωρήσουμε σε κάτι τέτοιο, χωρίς να το έχει προτείνει κάποιος γιατρός; Το ζήτημα είναι ότι θέλει να βεβαιωθεί, αν πρόκειται για κακοήθεια και να μην περιμένουμε να χειροτερέψει η κατάσταση.
