Ακανόνιστη περίοδος στα 50 με παχύ ενδομήτριο 11,9 και αγωνία για βιοψία

Είμαι 50 χρονών και τον τελευταίο χρόνο η περίοδος είναι ακανόνιστη (ανά 2-3 μήνες). Μου ήρθε πριν 2 εβδομάδες μετά από μεγάλη καθυστέρηση 5 μηνών. Έχω ακόμα ελάχιστο αίμα και η εξέταση έδειξε παχύ ενδομήτριο 11,9. Ο γιατρός μου έδωσε ντουφαστόν και θα με ξαναδεί την 5η μέρα της επόμενης περιόδου αλλά με αγχώσε κιόλας ότι αν δεν λεπτυνεί θα πρέπει να κάνουμε βιοψία. Κάνω κάθε χρόνο τις εξετάσεις μου και δεν υπάρχει ιστορικό καρκίνου μήτρας στην οικογένεια. Έχω αγχωθεί πολύ :( . Θα ήθελα τη γνώμη σας.
