Gastroenteritis modium imodium

Μπορεί το Imodium να προκαλέσει σπασμούς στο στομάχι μετά από γαστρεντερίτιδα;

Ο φαρμακοποιός μου σύστησε το Imodium ενώ είχα συμπτώματα γαστρεντερίτιδας, διάρροια και πυρετό. Πήρα δύο φορές μέσα σε ένα 24ωρο και μετά το σταμάτησα γιατί μου είπαν ότι δεν κάνει. Από την επόμενη μέρα ξεκίνησαν έντονοι σπασμοί (σφάχτες) στο στομάχι. Μπορεί να είναι το Imodium η αιτία? Μπορεί να μου δημιουργήσει κάποιο πρόβλημα εάν είναι μικροβιακή γαστρεντερίτιδα? Επίσης, ποιο φάρμακο ενδείκνυται για την αντιμετώπιση των σπασμών? Ευχαριστώ
