Είναι φυσιολογικό να παίρνω αντισυλληπτικά μετά από χειρουργείο ενδομητρίωσης;

Πριν δέκα χρόνια έκανα χειρουργείο για ενδομητρίωση, καθώς είχα μια κύστη στη δεξιά μου ωοθήκη. Ο γιατρός μου μού συνέστησε να αρχίσω να παίρνω αντισυλληπτικά για να μην επανεμφανιστεί ενδομητρίωση. Είναι φυσιολογικό; Ρωτάω γιατί έχω περάσει από 3 διαφορετικούς γυναικολόγους που γνώριζαν την κατάσταση και δεν μου είπαν ποτέ κάτι τέτοιο. Σας ευχαριστώ.
