Η επιωχρική μεμβράνη θολώνει μόνο το κέντρο της ωχράς και όχι την περιφέρεια;
Όταν λέμε ότι η επιωχρικη ΜΕΒΡΑΝΗ θολώνει μόνο το κέντρο της ωχράς την όραση, ,το κέντρο είναι μικρό όσο το 1/10 της συνολικής επιφάνειας της όρασης ? Και στη περιφέρεια δεν πέφτει δεν επηρεάζεται καθόλου η όραση είναι όπως και πριν την επιωχρικη μεβρανη ? οπότε και αν χρειαστεί στο μέλλον και επεμβαση καταρράκτη η περιφερική όραση θα είναι τέλεια και πάλι όπως ήταν πριν την επιωχρικη μεβρανη και πριν τον καταρράκτη ???

Η κεντρικη οραση επιρρεαζεται στην επιωχρικη μεμβρανη.Στον καταρρακτη (αναλογα και το ειδος του) επιρρεαζεται και η κοντινη και η μακρυνη οραση.

Επηρεάζεται μόνο η κεντρική ορασις.
Μετά από εγχείρηση η περιφερική ορασις παραμένει η ίδια.
Η ορασις γενικώς είναι μειωμένη λόγω της επιβατικής μεμβράνης.

Η περιφερικη οραση ειναι κανονικα χαμιλη στα 2/10. Οταν λογο ωχροπαθειας η περιωχρικης μεμβρανης χαθει η κεντρικη οραση η οποια ειναι ηψηλή και ευκρίνειας, μενει η περιφερικη η οποια ειναι χαμιλη. Δεν χαλαει η περιφερικη οραση απλα ειναι τοσο 2/10.
