Στη συνέχεια ειδικεύτηκε στη Β’ Μαιευτική και Γυναικολογική Κλινική του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, στο Αρεταίειο Νοσοκομείο, Πιστοποιημένου Ευρωπαϊκού Κέντρου Εκπαίδευσης στη Μαιευτική και Γυναικολογία από το Ευρωπαϊκό Κολέγιο Μαιευτικής και Γυναικολογίας (EBCOG). Έλαβε μέρος σε πληθώρα φυσιολογικών και επιπλεγμένων τοκετών, συμμετέχοντας ενεργά στο Τμήμα Παρακολούθησης Κυήσεων Υψηλού Κινδύνου, στο Τμήμα Υστεροσκόπησης και στο Τμήμα Λαπαροσκόπησης, αποκτώντας εμπειρία στις ενδοσκοπικές μεθόδους. Μετά την λήψη του Τίτλου ειδικότητας εργάστηκε και εκπαιδεύτηκε στην Μονάδα Υποβοηθούμενης Αναπαραγωγής της Β’ Μαιευτικής & Γυναικολογικής Κλινικής, της Ιατρικής Σχολής, του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών στο Αρεταίειο Νοσοκομείο καθώς και στο Παν/κο Νοσοκομείο Ρώμης Gemelli. Έλαβε πιστοποίηση κατόπιν εξετάσεων στην «Καρδιοτοκογραφία και Παρακολούθηση του Εμβρύου» από την Σουηδική Μαιευτική και Γυναικολογική εταιρία. Είναι Επιστημονικός Συνεργάτης της Α' Μαιευτικής - Γυναικολογικής Κλινικής του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Θ.εσσαλονίκης "Παπαγεωργίου". Έχει μετεκπαιδευθεί στη Λαπαροσκοπική και Υστεροσκοπική Χειρουργική στη Γερμανία (BETHESDA Duisburg), καθώς επίσης και στην Ενδομητρίωση και Αναπαραγωγική Χειρουργική. Η Δρ. Γεωργακοπούλου Αλεξάνδρα είναι Μαιευτήρας Γυναικολόγος με 20ετή εμπειρία και εξειδίκευση στον Προγεννητικό Έλεγχο, την Ιατρική Εμβρύου, την προηγμένη Μαιευτική και Γυναικολογική Υπερηχογραφία και την παρακολούθηση κυήσεων υψηλού κινδύνου. Η εξειδίκευσή της αφορά την προγεννητική διάγνωση συγγενών ανωμαλιών εμβρύου, την εκτέλεση των υπερηχογραφημάτων κύησης αυχενικής διαφάνειας και Β’ επιπέδου καθώς και τις επεμβάσεις αμνιοκέντησης και λήψης τροφοβλάστης. Το 1999 απέκτησε μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο στους προηγμένους Μαιευτικούς Υπερήχους από το Βασιλικό Κολλέγιο Μαιευτήρων - Γυναικολόγων του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου. Το 2000 πιστοποιήθηκε από το Fetal Medicine Foundation της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας και το όνομά της έκτοτε συμπεριλαμβάνεται στην παγκόσμια λίστα ιατρών που αξιολογούνται κάθε χρόνο και έχουν το δικαίωμα να χρησιμοποιούν το πρόγραμμα της Αυχενικής Διαφάνειας διεθνώς. Dr. Kavaratzis Kyriakos is a Specialist in Internal Medicine and has maintained a Private Practice in Alexandroupolis since 2008.
