Kanellopoulos Petros is a Pathologist and has maintained a private practice in Ampelokipoi since 2003. Επίσης έλαβε περαιτέρω εξειδίκευση σε προχωρημένες τεχνικές λαπαροσκοπικής και υστεροσκοπικής χειρουργικής στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο Ulleval του Όσλο. Το 2001 απέκτησε την Ευρωπαϊκή πιστοποίηση Κολποσκόπησης από το Βασιλικό Κολλέγιο Μαιευτήρων - Γυναικολόγων του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου, ενώ το 2002 πιστοποιήθηκε από το Family Planning Association της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας. Το 2005, με την επιστροφή του από το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και τη Νορβηγία, εντάχθηκε στο Νοσοκομείο ΜΗΤΕΡΑ στην Αθήνα, ως Μαιευτήρας Γυναικολόγος με εξειδίκευση στην Εξωσωματική Γονιμοποίηση και τη Λαπαροσκοπική - Υστεροσκοπική Χειρουργική.
