Με γνώμονα αυτό τελειώνοντας το Λύκειο στα εκπαιδευτήρια Κωστέα-Γείτονα σπούδασε τη επιστήμη της οδοντικής τεχνολογίας (οδοντοτεχνίτης) στο ανώτατο τεχνολογικό ίδρυμα της Αθήνας από το οποίο αποφοίτησε με βαθμό "λείαν καλώς" και έχοντας κάνει πρακτική και σε ιδιωτικό εργαστήριο ώστε να εμβαθύνει τις γνώσεις του στη παραγωγική διαδικασία.Στη συνέχεια με κατατακτήριες εξετάσεις εισήχθη δεύτερος στην οδοντιατρική σχολής του Εθνικού Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών (ΕΚΠΑ), στην οποία έλαβε εκπαίδευση επάνω σε όλους τους τομείς της οδοντιατρικής επιστήμης , αποφοιτώντας με βαθμό "λείαν καλώς". Dimitrios Konstantakis is a Dentist specialized in Oral Surgery and Implants, a graduate of the University of Freiburg in Germany. In 2009, he completed his undergraduate studies in the English-speaking Dentistry program at Semmelweis University in Budapest. Concurrently, he conducted his doctoral dissertation in the field of Oral Surgery, earning the title Dr.med.dent.

He served as a conscript dentist for one year in the Air Force and subsequently worked as a general dentist in the Dental Therapy Department of the 251 General Military Hospital of Athens. Simultaneously, he also worked at his father Nikolaos Konstantakis's private dental practice.
