Μετεκπαιδεύτηκε στην Αμερική τόσο σε ερευνητικό πρόγραμμα στο Ίδρυμα M.O.R.I. του Πανεπιστημίου TUFTS της Βοστώνης, όσο και στην Αιματολογική Ογκολογία στο Νοσοκομείο MD Anderson, Houston.
