She completed her Dermatology specialty at the University Dermatology Clinic of Münster in Germany, where she also completed her doctorate on malignant melanoma. She returned to Greece in 2018 and has since served as a Scientific Collaborator at the Dermatology Clinic of the University of Patras. She is a lecturer at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the departments of Medicine and Pharmacy at the University of Patras. Dr. Plaxouri has specialized knowledge in all areas of clinical dermatology for adults and children, including acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, chronic pruritus, and sexually transmitted diseases. She has a particular interest in skin cancers and hair disorders.
