Το τελευταίο έτος της ειδικότητας της στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Αθηνών "Ο Ευαγγελισμός" υπηρέτησε για τρεις μήνες στην Ρευματολογική Κλινική, όπου συμμετείχε ενεργά στο εξωτερικό ρευματολογικό ιατρείο καθώς και στα περιστατικά της κλινικής. Τους ακόλουθους τρεις μήνες εκπαιδεύτηκε στην Β΄ Καρδιολογική κλινική, με άσκηση στην κλινική, το εξωτερικό καρδιολογικό ιατρείο και τη Μονάδα Εμφραγμάτων, ενώ το τελευταίο τρίμηνο εκπαιδεύτηκε στη Μονάδα Εντατικής Θεραπείας του νοσοκομείου.

Στο παρελθόν έλαβε την απαιτούμενη εκπαίδευση στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Χαλκίδας και στη συνέχεια υπηρέτησε για 15 μήνες στο Κέντρο Υγείας Ιστιαίας στη Βόρεια Εύβοια ,ως Αγροτικός Ιατρός.

Από το 2017 έως και το 2025 εργάστηκε ως επικουρική επιμελήτρια Β΄ με την ειδικότητα της Εσωτερικής Παθολογίας στο Κέντρο Υγείας Νέου Κόσμου, όπου άσκησε τα καθήκοντά της στο τακτικό παθολογικό ιατρείο καθώς και στο τμήμα έκτακτων περιστατικών.

Από την έναρξη του θεσμού το 2022 έχει ενεργοποιηθεί ως Προσωπικός Ιατρός, στο Κέντρου Υγείας Νέου Κόσμου έως το τέλος του 2025. Πλέον είναι Προσωπικός Ιατρός και στο ιδιωτικό της ιατρείο στη Δάφνη.

Συμμετέχει σε διάφορα ιατρικά συνέδρια με στόχο την επιμόρφωσή της, ενώ άξια αναφοράς είναι η πιστοποίησή της στην καρδιοπνευμονική αναζωογόνηση BLS-AED.

Professor Petroutsos Georgios MD, PhD is an Ophthalmic Surgeon with private practices in Athens and Kifisia. He possesses extensive experience in corneal diseases, dry eye syndrome, rheumatic eye disorders, and glaucoma. Surgically, he specializes in cataract surgery and the correction of myopia, astigmatism, hypermetropia, and presbyopia using specialized intraocular lenses. For glaucoma, he applies the latest methods including Laser Trabeculoplasty and Diode Laser External Cyclophotocoagulation. Maria Aleksaki is an ophthalmic surgeon and collaborator at the Aktina Center in Chalandri and Athens. She graduated from the University of Patras Medical School with honors and specialized at the Athens Eye Hospital. During her specialization, she gained experience in diseases of the macula, cornea, glaucoma, ocular inflammations, refractive surgeries, cataract operations, and the entire spectrum of emergency ophthalmology cases. As a collaborator of the Aktina Center, under the scientific supervision of Mr. Liarakos (a specialist in corneal diseases), she has expertise in refractive surgeries, monitoring and management of keratoconus, cataract surgery using the modern phacoemulsification technique, and the implantation of multifocal and toric lenses for the correction of myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia.
