Ο Ιωάννης Τσακιρίδης συμπεριλαμβάνεται στο 2% των κορυφαίων επιστημόνων παγκοσμίως (Stanford University 2024 & 2025) και έχει δημοσιεύσει περισσότερα από 200 άρθρα σε διεθνή περιοδικά. Έχει λάβει βραβεία, μεταξύ των οποίων το πρώτο βραβείο και την υποτροφία της Ελληνικής Μαιευτικής και Γυναικολογικής Εταιρείας, μετά από συμμετοχή σε πανελλήνιες εξετάσεις. Είναι ένας από τους κύριους συγγραφείς των κατευθυντήριων οδηγιών της Ελληνικής Μαιευτικής και Γυναικολογικής Εταιρείας και της διεθνούς εταιρείας Εμβρυομητρικής Ιατρικής World Association of Perinatal Medicine.
