She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialized in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the PM&R unit of the General Hospital of Attica KAT, while also receiving basic training in acupuncture at the Department of Chinese Traditional Medicine of Nanjing University in China.
