Σπούδασε στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων και ολοκλήρωσε την ειδικότητα της Νευροχειρουργικής στην Πανεπιστημιακή Νευροχειρουργική Κλινική του Νοσοκομείου ΑΧΕΠΑ στη Θεσσαλονίκη. She trained at Savonlinna Hospital University Hospital in Finland and subsequently began her postgraduate studies in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Novi Sad in Serbia.
